At STEPEVI, each STUDIO rug begins with what already exists - leftover yarns from our own stock, surplus colours from previous productions, undyed natural fibres from past projects, or shades originally created for bespoke orders that changed direction mid-specification.
Whatever is left over becomes the starting point for something entirely new.

The process is spontaneous, instinctive, and full of energy. Our design team works directly with the yarns in hand, freely combining colours, textures, and ideas as they go. Produced in limited numbers, every rug carries its own character. No mass repetition. No fixed formula. Just pure creative energy, woven into rugs with the same STEPEVI quality.
