By combining sustainable materials with STEPEVI’s renowned design sensibility and hand-finished techniques, the Revival Project offers a contemporary expression of luxury that is both conscious and timeless — honoring the environment, our heritage, and the future of interior design. At its core, the Revival Project is built around three of our key sustainability pillars: achieving zero waste, striving for carbon neutrality, and empowering local communities.
The collection exclusively uses a 100% regenerated yarn made from post-consumer and post-industrial waste — such as old carpets, garments from take-back projects, fishing nets, and nylon manufacturing waste. Through a sophisticated regeneration process, these materials are transformed into high-quality yarns that mirror the performance of virgin nylon while nullifying the need for new resources.
The threads are infinitely recyclable, meaning that every single product in our Revival Project can be recollected and regenerated into brand-new nylon, again and again, without requiring any additional materials. Beyond reducing plastic pollution, this regenerated material helps alleviate climate change by foregoing the harmful environmental impacts associated with traditional oil-based nylon production.
This closed-loop material innovation supports STEPEVI’s goal of minimizing waste throughout the entire lifecycle of each product. The integration of the Revival Project into our offering also reflects our broader production philosophy — leveraging our fully integrated manufacturing facility and in-house dyehouse to ensure total quality control, traceability, and reduced emissions. At our manufacturing facility all STEPEVI rugs, including the Revival Project, are produced with 90% recycling rate for production waste and packaged with 100% recycled packaging.
