Caresse is defined by fluid movement, layered texture and an expressive sense of softness. Sweeping, organic forms flow across the surface, reminiscent of watercolour brushstrokes on canvas, with a gradient palette of tones blending gently into one another. Unveiled at Milan Design Week 2026, the collection's leftover yarns were reused in 'A Softer World', an art installation. Among lounge rugs, Caresse is immersive and quietly dramatic. In Amber, the rug lets the tones blend like watercolour.
Hand-tufted at STEPEVI's integrated facility in Isparta, Turkiye, this piece is worked in a cut-and-loop wool-viscose blend at 12mm pile height, a sculpted construction that balances durability with a soft, resilient feel underfoot, the cut and looped pile giving the surface its tactile, layered depth. Vacuum regularly, and avoid over-wetting if the pile ever needs a wash with mild carpet shampoo. Softness, brushed across the floor.
